A few words from
Lions Member and
former Central Mayor
George A. Owens.
"I know so many good things about Dane Biagi that I could ramble on and on. Dante and I go back a long way. We served for many years as Central City Trustees and I as mayor for time. Dante was always dedicated to what he thought was right for the city. We had many interesting and sometimes amusing discussions at our mothly meetings. I will always be grateful for his suppport.
As a Central City Lions Club Member, Dante was the best!!! He took care of all the many pieces of equipment and building as if they were his own. I doubt that the Lions Club will ever be lucky enough to have another member such as he.
It is very befitting that we are dedicating the large pavillion in his honor today. It is a well deserved honor and I am sure Dante is looking down with humble pride.
It has been my pleasure to have shared so many years with my friend Dante."

DANTE BIAGI PAVILION DEDICATION

A few words from Relative, Friend and
Lions Member Charlie Woolbright.
"Today, we honor my friend and relative,
Dante Biagi, for a lifetime of dedication to making the lives of others better in our community.
I had the honor of serving on the Central City Village Board with Dante for about 20 years. I can tell you that he was and still is dedicated to his hometown of Central City.
When the Central City Lions Club was formed, Dante and I were both charter members. We have together on many festivals and auctions over the past 40 years. No matter what project the Club had going, Dante was always there to help.
I can tell you one thing for sure, both the Village of Central City and the Central City Lions Club are better today because of Dante Biagi. I'm sorry I could not be there in person, so I ask that you join me in expressing our true appreciation for
Dante's many years of service to Central City."
